 Why are so many people on 20mg HC?
From what I understand, you can supplement adrenals with Isocort or HC without completely shutting them down. So why do so many people take 20mg which is a full daily functioning dose? Isn't it better to let your adrenals do some of the work and just help them along?

You may as well not take it if your cortisol levels are low it's because your adrenals are tired and can't keep up with the stress your putting on them. So you need to do a dose of HC or Isocort that will support your adrenals so they can rest and heal. Doing to much will shut you down and make things worse. The best dose to support your adrenals is 20 to 30mgs. I am on this for like my pituitary is bad. Read this link.
