I love Mexican. Theres an awesome place near where I live that has flour tacos that are to die for! They arent tortillas or soft tacos or anything like that. They are some flour mixture that is lightly fried; they end up about a half inch thick of soft, fluffy goodness! Another local place makes some awesome burritos. But this weekend I think were going out for Japanese. |

Something like that, yes. If yorue really fat, you would use 1.5g/lb of total bodyweight, and as you get leaner, you would shift to 1.5g/lb of LMB. But as you get leaner, the two values would converge anyway.

It stands for "protein sparing, modified fast". It's an extreme ketogenic diet which is comprised of protein and the least amount of fat and carbs you can possibly intake with that protein. Supposedly, it can yield approximately one pound of FATloss per day. Supposedly.

I have not read about this PSMF and the one link is dead. But I can say that ketogenic diets (I have done before many times) requires fat for fuel. Very low fat and no carbs tell the muscle to use protein. I have some super articles on the muscle sparring effects of keto type diets that go back almost 100 years. Another dude came up with the anamalbolic diet that is probably similar to a modified fast. Id like to see some articles on this. I am quite opinionated on diets and am familiar with most but not this one. If you give me a link I promise to be openminded. Fat loss is actually really easy if you have the right tools of knowledge and some dedication. Fasting type diets do go into starvation mode. Many people are insulin resistant and this makes dieting hard. Insulin resistance is 80% diet controlled and 10% exercise. You can live without carbs you can not live without fats and protein. I would like to see this diet. Anyone have an e-book on this? |
