Burping Up Fish Oil

Its probably old fish oil, That does not happen with fresh stuff. If you just bought it take it back. Its going rancid.

are you consuming them with meals?

if not, try that for a while

digestive enzymes are present when food is consumed

if this fails switch to krill oil

They have some fish oil pills that apparently have odor control...I guess it is suppose to have no odor or tastes when burped up...Sounds like BS to me but I can't bash it because I havent tried it. I do know for some reason I never get a bad taste if I drink a shake with my oils. If I skip the shake and take them with just a meal I burp it up for the next hour.

Couple of things...yes it's possible the fish oil went bad but even if it's good it still tastes like ass when ye burp it up!! There are a couple of options. Get an enteric coated capsule which will only open in the intestines. Sometimes it breaks open in the stomach...most often not. You could try some of the odor control like Cory said. The last one I tried has peppermint oil in there with the fish oil. When they broke open you only tasted mint...like you had just chewed on a stick of mint gum. Also, I would actually recommend taking them on an EMPTY stomach and drinking LOTS of water. If it's in the stomach with a lot of food then it stays in there for quite a while increasing the chances of nasty burps. Empty it tends to want to push that sucker right on through. Least that was my experience. Finally, get some Carlson's fish oil. It's a liquid which is kinda nasty cause of the feeling of an oil in yer mouth, but it tastes good, no bad burps EVER and if ye want 5g of oil ye don't have to swallow 5 horse pills, just a small amount of liquid.

ok, I'll ask, how do you know it is the Richard of a fish as opposed to the gills or the fin?
