Ok, so that means that you burn off about 1600 calories a day from just staying alive (breathing etc). If you double this you should start to gain weight. Try and avoid weight gainers and stick to food as much as possible. Try and eat 6 meals a day with two of them being red meat. FOr your carbs try and eat oatmeal, rice, pasta etc. Find out what you like best and stick to it.

Write out the foods you like, find out the calories in them and then add them all up until you get to around 3200-3500 cals per day. It's just down to counting the calories!

What time do you wake up and what time do you go to bed?

Hey man, I'm not rying to be funny here, but it looks like you have a LOT of research to do on EVERYTHING. Get some books on bodybuilding, read up on diet, nutrition, supplements etc.

Yes, you will have to gain weight to put on muscle!

You've a lot of work ahead of ya bro, stick at it! Best of luck

ilds

and one last thing, you need at least 7-8 hours of sleep every night

By gaining weight, we don't mean getting fat. However, if you add muscle to your body, you will, in fact, be heavier, thus having "gained weight". In order to put on this muscle, you need to take in more calories than you expend in a day.

Also important is the exercises you choose. I know it's not easy or pretty or fancy or whatever makes people shy away from these exercises, but if you want to gain muscle the fastest way possible, then you must squat and deadlift. Seriously, they'll do it for you better'n anything.
