Default cream and protien?

why does whipping cream or half and half have no protien? I mean that shit is thick as hell compared to skim milk which has 8to9 grams a serving where most creams have none or less than on gram per serving. i thought that cream went through less prosessing than milk so why does milk have more? just a Q i was looking to see if i used cream in my coffee i could get a few more grams of protien but i guess not.
later.

Cream is the fat skimmed off the top of unhomogenized milk(thats one of the steps in making skim milk). Cream is the milkfat plain and simple. Thickness has nothing to do with protein content. Ever mix up a whey protein drink? Not very thick is it, yet it has much protein in it. You'd be better off using skim milk in your coffe. It does add some lactose though. I drink all my coffee blended in a Grow MRP.
