Default creatine sides?

Hey All. I know one common side is water retention. Another I certainly experienced during the loading phase was indigestion and, well, air build-up. I felt pain in my upper right side during loading too. Could creatine stress out the liver at about 25 gm/ED (four heaping spoonsful a day)?

Any comments on possible creatine side effects?

Are you taking creatine monohydrate?? Monohydrate can cause upset stomach, and gas on higher doses as it isn't absorbed by the body very well unless taken with high amount of simple sugars. Try creatine ethyl ester (get tabs cause the powder tastes really REALLY BAD!!) Take them half hour before work out and again straight afterward. Best I've treid so far. Giving Cellmass a try now for a while, will let you know how I get on.

On another note I'd like to tell everyone that NO-Xplode and tribulus are now illegal in my country.

Cellmass is actually pretty good. And I love that it is so affective wihtout all the sugars of all the transport creatines. But yes, mohohydrate by itself is going to hurt your stomach. You should either get the ester like he said, or find one that is a premade drink. It will be so much easier on your body and actually give you better results

Because our equivalent of the FDA are assholes as well. Some kids were taking it playing rugby and someone died, his Mum found the stuff in his bag and went to the radio about it. Then there was a big investigation blah, blah, blah. Then the papers came out and said that a lot of the protein powders you can buy in the shops have steroids in them so they wanted them banned as well!!

Madness.

I have never experienced any negative sides from creatine. I guess it's effects vary from person to person. I have experimented in various ways and definitely front-loading isn't necessary with any form of creatine. I haven't experienced any differences in gains and i actually have more left to drink on my workout days. I usually drink 5 grams before training and another 5 post-workout and i'm good to go. On non training days i drink just 5 grams for maintenance.

That's some pure bullshit. I've used tribulus at a dose as high as 2250mgs a day and had no problems besides occasional insomnia, more acne than usual and a little bit of aggressiveness.

Post up a link to the article iluvdeads.

Here's a link

ireland to ban no-xplode???

and the one from the news:

Fears for teens over drugs in school sport - National News, Frontpage - Independent.ie

The news article doesn't mention what supplements are banned but the one above does. If you wanna find out for yourself try order supps from bb.com and ship to Ireland. It won't let you!

The ones I know of anyway:

NO-Xplode
Tribulus
Yohimbine
Any pro-hormones

Love my country!

Here's my favorite line from the news article:

But recent studies revealed that more than 20pc of such products actually contain steroids which are not only banned from use in sport but can lead to serious developmental and health problems, according to Prof Buckley.

Sad, yeeeah. Bulgarian Trib has been my mainstay between cycles since the First World War. The oil, erections, & stamina all tell me something has kicked in. Can't believe government paranoia somewhere has outlawed another natural herb.

Was trying creatine to keep the muscle energy going, but it is monohydrate and I do fart a lot. Reinhart says 25 g ED? Instructions say 25 g ED for one week then down to only 5g ED. Don't like the shit and can't really notice much difference. If I feel unmotivated, Trib, a Provi, and an ephedrine usually get me going (between cycles), though on occasion I've lived excessively and taken a Nolva tab too.

Yeah! Thankfully, there are a lot of good replacements of tribulus! I don't like frontloading as i previously said. I said 5 grams about 15 minutes with a big serving of bcaa's pre-workout and then again immediately post-workout with bcaa's again! =)

A good natural stack for you to try is:

300-600mgs 6-oxo before bedtime
One serving of zma post workout and another one before bedtime
1000-1500mgs tribulus: Half of the dose upon wakening and the other half about an hour before your workout. It's going to make you feel really good!!!

I've used creatine twice, once years ago when it first come out on the market.
About two mounths ago a brought a kg,which I took for about five weeks and gave the rest away.
Same effect both times,no noticable effect except alot of cramping.
I prefer Arginine supplement, great for vascularity.

The first time I used creatine I got stomach cramps shortly after. It was some proprietary supplement that contained monohydrate, dextrose and flavouring basically. Subsequently I never had any problems. After I finished the tub I didn't bother with creatine again for some time, then started using plain monohydrate, again with no issues.

Actually, Reinheart, I like to take Trib at bedtime, though some folks may find it won't let them sleep. It probably contributes to my several piss walks during the night and the Trib hard-on makes it hard to piss anyway, but I've read that Trib does its most effective work in the early hours of sleep. Like Jashace, I like the aminos. I also sleep on about 4000mgs of Arginine-Ornithine combo, a definite grower. Could mention I wake between 4 & 5 a.m. for my daily rhGH shot too.

To tell the truth, I don't really know what 6-oxo or zma even are.
