fish oil capsules

Hey All, what type of fish oil capsules do you guys use that you really like? You know, the kind that dissolve later or whatever so that you don't burp up fish oil a couple of hours later.

Also, what do you consider a good dose to take (aside from what the label says)?

I get mine at wal-mart, and take around 6 gel caps a day, thats 6 grams. 3 with breakfast 3 with dinner, thats about double the recommended dosage.
If you take it within 30 min prior to a meal you don't burp it up later.

Thanks for the reply, role model. I had gotten my last bottle at wal-mart. I wasn't taking them 30 mins prior to a meal, tho. I could sure try that.

I used to get mine at BJ's "Kirkland" brand. They are one of the few that are USP.

I go through a bottle or so of Biotest's Flameout( I know, I know, we all hate the T-men...) every month, which is a good deal for the levels of omega-3s. I just about go through a tub of the bulk capsules from Nutraplanet each month, too. Some folks like the mega-dosing, some don't. I do it for a month or two, then take a couple weeks off. Taking the capsules before meals like mentioned helps with the burps, or just with meals. At least that's what I've heard, I've never gotten the fish burps. Some people claim that freezing them helps with the burps, but that just doesn't make any sense to me. In any case, I get somewhere between 25-35 grams a day. I'm not to strict on taking them, considering the volume.
