Angry Good Carbs?

When all these fat loss diets are telling you to minimize sugar and fruits, and to get your carbs mainly from non-starcy and non-root vegetables, how the hell do you get adequate carbs?

Spinach, asparagus, carrots, and many other "good" vegetables, since they are so low in sugar, are also extremely low in carbohydrates and calories!! All of the above mentioned vegetables only have 10-30 calories and 7-10gm of carbs PER CHOPPED CUPFULL.

In otherwords, if I want 20gm of carbs per meal from "good" vegetables, I need to eat either 6 cups of spinach, 3 cups of carrots, or 5 cups of broccoli PER MEAL!

I don't know if that much fibrous vegetable would even fit into my stomach!

How do you guys deal with this problem?!

The first step is to eliminate sugar, potato's, bread, juices, sodas, pasta, white rice, and cereals. Also high fat foods. Whole fruits and vegies are ok and healthy. Eat low glycemic foods.

Well yeah I call oatmeal cereal, but also whole wheat, wheat bran, oat bran, etc. To me I think they are all good.

Guys, what about my original question?

How do you get adequate carbs in your diet when you are eating only "good" carbs and avoiding sugars and starches?!

We just pointed you good carbs sources.

Brown rice, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, veggies, cereal, whole wheat whole grain stuff...

These are all good carbs sources. (BTW starchy carbs is not a problem if the GI index of it is slow)

I have no problem living on what we said, plus you can cheat a couple meals per week with pasta, baked potato, etc. Unless if your in competition, who cares.
This is not adequate for you?

yOU GET MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF CARBS FROM WHEAT BREAD,WHOLE WHEAT CEREAL, WHEAT PASTA (YOU FORGOT THAT ONE). ANYTHING WHOLE GRAIN WITH WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR AS THE PRIMARY INGREDIENT. YOU LL HAVE CARBS SWIMMIN OUT YOUR EAR. YOU EAT VEGGIES FOR FIBER AND NUTRITIONAL VALUE MORE THAN CARBS BRO, THE MASS OF CARBS YOU GET FROM THE ABOVE MENTIONED FOODS. AND THEY ARE GOOD CARBS.
