Like I tell my wife when she says it is hard to figure out something for me to eat, "meat & green vegetables". I don't get a whole lot of variety but don't get too tired of it. Have a cheat day now and then or you will go crazy. No more than once a week. It takes your body 3-4 days to completely clear food out of your system.

The best help for me was to cook a lot of meat at a time and refrigerate some and freeze the rest. It is too easy to cheat if you think it is a hassle to cook.

For breakfast I usually have top round steak or eggs and some frozen veggies.

For lunch I almost always have a salad(no iceberg crap) and add different things--raw almonds, raw walnuts, hard boiled egg, ground flaxseed, etc. With this it is usually chicken or tuna. Try a chicken breast with some Rotel over the top.

For dinner it can be any meat, lean hamburger, chicken, steak, etc. Steamed veggies are good such as broccoli or green beans(beans are a little high in carbs).

Snacks are some nuts and/or whey shake. If I need desert I grab an Atkins bar.

Some people get a little relief from the cravings when you first start by taking 5-10g of glutamine per day.

I have moved away from a very low carb diet. You drop a lot of water weight to start with but then kind of stall. At least I did and so did my doctor. Plus I did this diet while I was only doing a little cardio 3-4 times a week. Once I started hitting the weights hard again, I had no energy and would crash.

I now add in a little more carbs and try to stick to decent ones like brown rice, beans, etc especially on workout days.
