Yes, once congress passes and the president signs the bill to reclassify pro-steroids as controlled substances, it takes 90 days for it to be enacted. So, you probably have until around the beginning of January 2005. However, there exists the small chance that there will be 'emergency' enactment which will make it illegal to buy/sell immediately after the president signs the bill.

Also, since Ephedra is banned right now, is it illegal to possess? or just to buy and sell?

ephedra is only illegal for weight loss purposes, not as a bronchilator or asthma controller so it is still around

you're thinking of ephedrine. there is no herbal brochiadilator made from ephedra. so is herbal ephedra illegal to possess? for instance, you were pulled over by a cop and had a bottle of Hydroxycut or something like it (w/ Ephedra) in your car, could the cop confiscate it? could he take you to jail?
