I take protein 50grams whey with a bannana after my workout. I also take around 25 grams about an hour before I workout.
For some before working out doesnt work because they dont digest it well.I do and it has given me an edge in my workouts.
Atleast take it after your workout. In my opinion anyway.
I dont know the different types of proteins I am not that scientific but do feel that whey has worked the best for me while Soy protein was the worst.
I have pretty much tried them all at this point.
