Default Recovery w/o sugar!

I hit the gym at least 6 days a week and get pretty sore and fatigued. I’ve been looking for a post w/o supp. or drink. They all have so much sugar which does not go with trying to lose body fat. I found a drink called Recovery by Powerlab that tastes like Gatorade and only has 5 calories.

Some sugar aint' so bad. It's not sugars or fat that matters but calories. You need some calories to recover your energy. Try a low-cal protein shake. They can go down 130 while still giving you 40 gms protein for building.

if your on a low carb diet which is what it sounds like your saying, then you shuold know that abuot half of your carbs that you do take in are post workout. If your looking to do as close to zero carbs as you can, then why not go with just a regular whey protein drink that have like one or two grams of sugar. VPX just came out with a zero sugar protein

I've been adding a few tablespoons of pure powder dextrose to my after work out protein. Not sure if it is the right thing to do, but I've been doing it. Cheap too, like a dollar per lb. at the health food place.

I dont liek to use high sugars because I tend to get a sugar high or low sometimes if its massive in sugar, I myself am going to use WMS as I have heard it is better and does not give a high or low. SO hopefully it will do good. Maybe this might be something you can look at?
Hope that helps.

Good luck
