Default Sodium

I'm just curious if anyone out there keeps a close tab on their sodium intake.. I'm 2 1/2 wks into my cycle now and am trying to be really careful about what I eat. The biggest problem I am having is with sodium. I haven't kept any kind of log yet, but I know I am way over the "reccommended daily allowance". It is hard to find low sodium foods and when I do, they are very expensive... Cottage cheese, chicken breasts, tuna.. all loaded with salt!!! Any helpful suggestions??

I would be curious for some suggestions too. I have started using salt substitute because I crave salt. I still have a little adrenal issue. The substitute is just replacing sodium with potassium which I don't know if it might cause the same issues.
