But maybe Miss Tuffit would be better off with just milk. Grandma today said Whey is just the clear stuff left over from skimmed milk.

Is this right?

Actually ut is that watery part you see floating on top of yougurt. But most of it is derieved from cheese. It seperates from the cheese when the enzymes are added.

Yes, from all that I've heard in recent years, I believe the amino acid profile of whey and skim milk is very similar.

The mainstay of my daily diet is actually skim powder and whey (lots of it!) all mixed with water, and I grow on it just fine.
