Maybe so, but I highly doubt it. I just have a hard time believing that something this big could be kept secret. There would be US soldiers who know of it, there would be Iraqi civilians, and Iraqi police who would know of it. Surely, one of them would bark!!!

I remember reading that the Iraqi government was sending in blood samples from the suspected terrorist for DNA testing to see if it matched known samples of Zarqawi's. I never heard anything else about this.

very good point Quasi.....I am by no means a conspiracy theorist, but hiding him until before the election would be a dirty little trick to ensure victory.

now im not sure if you are suggesting that the beheadings are fake....i dont think you are, but voice analysist has confirmed that the fucker in the video's is him. then again, who knows.

i personally dont think there is any reason for the govt to hide him. i personally dont think it would make a difference. but many people are easily swayed because of how quickly major events are forgotten

But consider this..Zarqawi is a amputee for sure. That is part of his profile that was handed out to US troops in Iraq. My cousin sent me the Flyer the army handed out ID'ing this guy. He is scarred and wears a prosthetic leg. I saw that recent video..the guy who read the statement committed the actual beheading..that guy shifted his weight like a guy with two fully functional legs..plus Zarqawi is 6'2. Those were some tall f'ing dudes if Zarqawi's the guy who did the murder.

I just want people to keep this in the back of their minds come october, november.

You make a good pint Quasi that I had thought of myself. I watched the Berg video (if I had known it was that gruesome I would not have done so), and if you watch the guy who does the act, he shifts his weight very awkwardly......like he did not have a stong leg to bear his weight on. I think this is how they determined it was him in this video.

I ahve not seen the latest video, so I cannot comment on them. However, if we do have him and Bush pulls him out at the last minute it will piss me off greatly. Not saying I'll vote for Kerry, but I will lose a lot of respect for Bush. But at the end of the day, I'll be even happier that we got this fucker!!!!
