Granted, I dont think the Dems would outright ban the Bible, but they would probably try to pass legislation banning its use in any public building. So much for free speech and freedom of religion.

What's amazing is that liberals are trying to make this perfect utopia where you can't say anything offensive or show any signs of religion. What's great is that all it really does is weaken a nation and no other country in the world is as pc as we are and they are just fine. Liberals are all people who did not grow up in reality. What I think is ridiculous is the LA County board removing Christian items from the courthouse that have been there for decades.

What I think is ridiculous is that people are so opposed to 10 statements of truth that would improve everyones lives.

What I think is ridiculous is the idea of Jewish and Christian symbols being removed, yet Islamic symbols are praised.

I dont want creation or religion being taught in public schools...

I had the most enligthening class at Florida State U when i was a student there..i had a world history teacher on the first day of his class tell us " this is not sunday school..this is not bible study , if you think it is you are in the wrong class". I found the class fascinating but alot of folks didnt..they dropped the class and many of them complained. He was the most complained about and publicly protested professor at the university...

Point is people want their religion all rosey and hopeful. ..in most literal cases..it isnt..See the Galileo affair, the crusades...etc. Religion has done the world a disservice..but i would never advocate the bible being banned..

If we are saved by the law, then you would be correct. But were not, and your wrong.

I am a Christian, I believe in Jesus, and I sin. I do my best not to, but Im human and make mistakes. Since there has only been one person who was perfect, I will put my faith in him to save me. Whether I follow the law or not isnt a qualification of being saved, though it does give great insight into a person's heart and motived.

Quasi, I am more than positive that you are smart enough to be able to make a distinction between the teachings of a religion and the people that pervert those teachings. The Crusades is a good example. Christiantiy is a peaceful, loving religion, but some people twist it and take selected quotes out of context in order to support their perversions. We could sit around all day naming off tragedies that were orchestrated by "believers." The KKK is an organization that perverts the teachings of the Bible, as well.
