Ok, I understand that we want to have a relatively calm and hate free board so I understand the desire to keep topics calm and rational and to not allow people to continually make extreme racist comments. That all makes sense.
What I want to know is how most people here feel about race issues. As an example...I consider a person who regards all people of a particular race as inferior or who belittles them solely for thier race, etc as a racist. Would everyone agree on that? Now I'm sure there are KKK members or Nazi's etc etc who have made the exception and slept with or commingled with a member of the inferior race.
So then, what is someone considered if they think only certain members of a race are inferior and give the rest a bad name? As an example....that KKK member (doesn't have to be KKK though...could just be some dumbass, overall wearin, hayseed -- I might consider him to be some piece of white trash, honkey, reneck, ignorant hick and he is inferior to me and gives the majority of my race (yes, I'm white) a bad image. I might also consider a black man who acts the same was as the KKK member or that hayseed and think of him as...*gasp* yes a nigger. People don't like that work but it has the same connotation as callin a white guy a cracker...and I'm just using it as an example here so keep yer panties on people. Anyway, if I consider some whites as crackers and white trash, but regard whites in general as decent people, am I a racist? On that same note, just because I consider certain blacks to be niggers am I racist? What about some of the hispanic gang members...if they're spics am I a racist?
I just want to know at what point do you guys consider a person to become racist. Just making racist style remarks...does that make them racist? Not coming to anyone's defense...just curious cause I see a LOT of double standards from some people on here and wanted to know how they really felt.
Me....if you're a dumbass then you're a dumbass and I may call you anything regardless of your race....yep, even called white people the n word because they were ignorant which is the origin of that word anyway.
North side: Hoity-toity, rich, gay, liberal haven.
South side: Blue collar, conservative and home of most of the black folkseses.
My g/f is born and bred far NW Suburbs. (It should be noted that said Chicago description is even more pronounced in the burbs) The other week I was working at a black nightclub. She came to pick me up. I was fucking off outside doing work crap and she went in to use the bathroom about half an hour after closing.
She was totally scandalized that all of the dudes who worked there were like, "what you doing, white girl? You lost white girl? What you doing here, white girl?"
It came as a total shock to her that black folks don't like white folks. Really?
In their defense, it was a perfectly acceptable question to pose. When white people come up to the door, we ask them if they want the club down the street. 99.9% of the time, that's where they're trying to go. So, at 2:30am, ANYONE walking in the door of the club(since it was closed) is suspicious. Especially a white person, who 99.9% of the time IS lost. LOL
What's the point? I don't know. That story cracks me up. She was soooooo offended.
we can never paint a particular race with such a large brush..i think the question should be directed towards cultures.how certain cultutes accept certain ways of life ect...that has always been my topic of choice..i think all people are born equal but it is their culture that dictates the way they live(for the most part)

this is sooooo true, even though I've never seen you make such a distinction in ANY of your posts! The last university I attended had a lot of Jamacian exchange students, and let me tell you, aside from skin color, these fellas had nothing in common with American black folk. I really enjoyed my classes with a couple of Jamacian guys... some good guys there.
Wish I could say the same for all the sean john wearin', gold teeth havin', black n' mild smokin, loud music playin', social deviants I see around campus these days. Also, I should add that most of these characters don't attend the university, they just cruise the lots between classes hoping to score some digits

Sounds like an oppresive statement to me. This post is racist against black americans because of the comparison made. It's obvious you have a personal problem against blacks I'm guessing because their presence intimidates or even makes you feel unconfortable. Would it be more appropriate if they dressed like you, share the same taste in music, then would you consider them as rightful citizens. I won't even address the stuporous remark about gold teeth. It's evident you justify your beliefs on fictional videos that are designed to attracted buyers much like the movies marketed today.

And if you're white and you feel this way, then you need to take a look at your peers and see what's going on with them. I must say I agree with the majority of this post especailly the part about the delta. That was funny. I do see this quite often. Head Gasket? That was funny man. I also see guys in Caddy's,
brand new vehicles sitting on nice rims and I commend them. That is the difference between one who takes care of his shit, and one who doesn't. This is also true. I'll admit I live where all the cops, doctors, lawyers, mothers a judge who left me the house across the street from Emanuel Stewart's Manchant in Palmer Park if you knew anything about Detroit but it's obvious you don't because your a moron.
