I guess the same way that GWB misrepresents his record on education, tax reform and the importation of prescription drugs. Why does any of this surprise you. . . ? I totally agree wtih you Quasi....both sides do it.

However, misrepresenting/bending/fudging your record on education or prescription drugs (by the way, Canada's top 30 online pharmacies said that they will not allow US pharmacies or municipalities join together and order in bulk from Canada.....kind of shoots a hole in Kerry's proposal)....is totally different than saying a whole group of individuals have endorsed you.

IMO, that is a flat out lie. But like you said, they both do it.

Let me get this straight... US drug companies research and develop most of the medication we use. They pay for this research through sales of current drugs. They employ hundreds of thousands of people... maybe more.

But.... John Kerry wants to outsource our drugs to another country. I can't believe Bush did not hammer him on this point in the debates.

I agree.....those big evil drug companies spen billions of dollars each year on research and development. It takes them years and years to get FDA approval before a drug can hit the market....well, they need to re-coup some of their expenditures; which is why they get "guaranteed rights" for so many years before generics hit the shelves.

The real problem here is the FDA and their rediculous guidelines in this country. Just like the EPA, they are one of the driving forces behind job loss in this country.
