I agree. Something needs to be done, but I think the US is going to get the shaft here, and by the time the damage is done, it will be too late to do anything.

I realize we were all likely foriegners at one time to this country but it is time to close the borders and stop the influx of ilegall immigrants ! The ones that are already here should be made citizens and start paying taxes like everyone else or be deported.Anyone even vaugely suspected of having ties to terrorist organizations in our country should be inprisoned for life or deported.We need to stop all programs that give immigrants free loans or money asap.Vote dennis in 08...if you do i will give our military leaders full control over the war decisions to be made over in Iraq.

Why would the US kick out anybody? You can't immigrate to you own country....

I was hoping someone would chime in with that info... Imagine having the Amero instead of the dollar... the value will be in the shitter due to the pathetic members of the Union.

Yeah, the US is going through a lot of adjusting right now. It's not an easy shift going from a total isolationist country to trying to play fair with the rest of the world. If the people will work hard and get some education and the leadership gets better, the US has the best chance of anybody in the world to continue to be the world's superpower. The US already has a hell of a head start over most everybody in infrastructure and education capacity. The US military is second to none in technology and power. However, the American people are lazy and stupid. In the US, it's our game to lose.

I agree Americans have become lazy and for lack of a better term stupid, myself included to some extent (well, at least the lazy part). We need to wake up and smell the proverbial coffee soon, or we will paint ourselves into the corner of irrelevence.
