Hillary a socialist? No way. There is nothing socialist about her. I do not ever want her idea of health care. Because it involves selling us to the corporate HMOs that have been raping the American people for the last 20 + years. I would like to see the concept of medical insurance abolished. Health care is a public service, not a luxury for the wealthy few. For those of who would resent the idea of paying for medical care for the poor. Please be merciful as well as consistent and allow the ill to be euthanized. I think it is cruel to keep someone alive if they are going to be sick and in pain.

BTW, many of the provisions of the Patriot act were drafted by her husband. Another person I would not consider a liberal. The funny thing too me is the rhetoric that comes from both republicans and demorcrats. You have Republicans that say global warming doesn't exist and then that is it. Nothing to really back up their claims. It is more accepted that global warming exist then that doesn't. There is a measurable increase in warming across this globe. There are ice sheets in the in both poles that are receding at rapid rates.
What both Democrats and Republicans seem to missed out on the subject of global warming? The point is that global warming does exist the question is- Is it caused by human influence or naturally. The world has always gone through periods of cooling and warming so to say that global warming doesn't exist is ludacris when there is proven science to back this claim.
It is just like does UFO's exist. Yes it does. The question is some UFO's advanced beings flying those UFO's are are these UFO's that haven't been explained yet?
Second I love to hear republicans say that if a Democrat is elected then we will be doomed. You can say that about both parties now a days and none of them have a monopoly on greatness. No one can come close to trying to tell me that President Bush and his administration is the best administration we ever had or even a marginal administration. This administration is no Reagan administration or Dwight Eisnhower administration. So please don't give me this crap that Republicans are the best for this country over any other party. I would argue that the Libetarian party is much better for this country then the two top parties.
Both parties have developed trade polices that is hurting this country. Both are allowing public education to fail. Both are allowing Higher Education to fastly outpace inflation. This administration has allowed the Euro, yen, Australian and Canadian dollar to rise against the US dollar thus weakening the dollar and yet we still have a terrible trade policy that we can't even benefit from the lower dollar by having our exports being cheaper.
No party has a monopoly in polices. I mean this administration, violent crime is rising after years of reduction in the Clinton Administration- those are facts. More illegal aliens has entered this country in during this administration reign and also during the Reagan administration. Those again are facts.
So I don't see how Republicans can sit there an beat on their chest like they are what is best for this country when both parties has glaring faults.
We produce less Engineers, Computer Scientist, Mathematicians, Professors and other professions then we did thirty years ago. But we produce more lawyers then ever before.
We have less competition in this country for Telecommunication then other countries and we are behind France, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Sweden and other countries in celluar technology and broadband connection.
I can go one and on. We have a broken Prison system with no reform so we are creating tougher, more diverse, dangerous and organized criminals. Gangs have risen sharply since 2000. Their are actually less police on the streets then in 1998. Local municipalities have less money for fighting crimes and yet we feel that it is better to spend over a $200 billion dollars a year in Iraq and another $100 billion dollars in Afganistan.
We lost our world influence. We have worst foreign policies now then we did just 10 years ago.
We need a party that will improve the tax structure, improve Social Security and increase funding for local police forces. We need a president that will reform the CAFTA and NAFTA trade agreements. We Need a party that will stand on the tough issues like improving public education even if the entire system needs to be torn down and rebuilt and made more efficient.
We need a party that will curb the rise of Higher Educational cost. A party that will say "Why do we need over 700+ bases in over 130 countries that are costing us billions if not hundreds of billions of dollars yearly. Do we need a base in a Soveriegn ally country such as in Germany, Turkey, Japan, Taiwan, Great Britain and others. Think about the $Hundreds of billions of dollars saved yearly if we did close them. Not all but the ones we don't need or atleast turn them over to the host countries.
We need a president that will take our monetary system out of the hands of the Fed.
Also another thing I want to see a party do is first enforce our border laws and improve our border security to keep out illegal aliens and drug smuggling and then after that is all done, create a better relationship with Mexico.
As large as Mexico is and one of our largest neighbors is a disgrace that we don't have more military and political alliance with one of our closest and largest neighbors. Can you guys believe that Mexico isn't even a apart of NORAD or even NATO? Do you guys realized that Germany tried to include Mexico in a plan attack on the US during World War 2? They actually negotiate the reclaiming of Southwestern States to be giving back to the US?
We need to have Mexico as one of our closest allies for strategic reasons alone. If we ever enter another world war wouldn't want an ally that is basically next door with over 125,000,000 citizen with an sizable army to help you in times of military conflict?
I can go on and on.

In my opinion I think that Mike Huckabee of Arkansas and Rudy Giuliani would be the best two candidates out of the field of republican candidates running now.
On the Democratic side I like Obama, Bill Richardson and Clinton.
Now all candidates have flaws and non are perfect. YOu can't even come close to try and state one that is overwhelming better then another. The key word is "overwhelmingly better".
