They mayor of New Orleans made a pretty shitty comment. A reporter was turning NO with him and the reporter made a comment about still not being able to get some cars out of garages and how NO still needs alot of work. The mayor says "Its been 5 years and NYC still cant get the whole in the ground fixed" That was just ignorant. But this isn't the first time he has said stuff like this. How did he get reelected?

I saw the interview and heard the reply. I didn't put 2 and 2 together though. Now I see. Yea, that was lame. Not sure if you saw the remainder of that piece but the part about him selling out to make NO an all white resort was interesting/funny. I don't live there so I could care less what he does with that place. I have plenty of friends from Louisianna and none of them go to NO, even for Mardi Gras. I still like the feel of Bourbon Street, or did pre-Katrina, doubt i'll go back anytime soon.

I saw his little speech on TV the other day, and he was putting on his best ole time gospel hour act. When I heard the TV, I first thought it was some kind of TBN program! He is a fool, and he lives in a warped reality because the city that he presides over is built on drunkeness, hedonism, and corrupt moral turpitude.
