 Reasons to vote for Kerry! The reasons to vote for Kerry More liberal than Ted Kennedy. Never met a tax he didn't like, voted for over 90 tax increases. Calls himself a hunter and a sportsman, but voted for every gun control measure presented to him. Says he's strong on intelligence, but can't be bothered to attend Senate Select Committee on Intelligence meetings, or even to travel to Washington to receive his current briefing due him as a Presidential candidate. Claims to know something about foreign policy. (See above). The consumate politician...never takes a stand without reading the polls first, and is more than willing to change that stand if the winds change. Wants to reform health care, so chooses an ambulance chasing trial lawyer for a running mate. Calls himself pro-life...but votes to allow partial-birth abortions, a procedure so barbaric that most doctors consider it a violation of their Hippocratic Oath. Says he's strong on defense...and votes against every defense bill, every weapon system, every intelligence agency funding. Fought "honorably" in VietNam, played the system to get an early out so he could come home and accuse his comrades-at-arms of war crimes and throw somebody else's medals over the White House fence. Took direction directly from the Communist party in his anti-war activities, while still a member of the US Navy. Endorsed today BY the Communist party. Candidate of choice by terrorists worldwide. Refuses to apologize to his former comrades-at-arms for stabbing them in the back. Blames the President for reading to school kids for seven minutes after being informed about the 9/11 attacks, but admits he was "unable to think" for 45 minutes. He "has a plan"...but refuses to disclose it. Thinks the UN is the solution to any foreign policy decision. Thinks Europe has all the answers. Go vote. It's all you have left.        |

Don't forget that he opposed Reagan every step of the way during the Cold War, which Reagan was winning via "Peace through strength." Kerry supported a nuclear freeze during this time period.

Can't say enough, don't roll the dice by voting against W and not for Kerry. If you're for Kerry fine, vote that way. But if you're only voting Kerry to vote against Bush, don't gamble with a canidate who still hasn't made himself clear. |

But a politician is a politician. He is by nature, predispositioned to lie and bullshit to get his/her way. But, I do get the sense that Bush truly means what he says. The man has convictions; you may disagree with him, but you have to respect the man for being rock solid in his resolve. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for Kerry. That is just my opinion. But at the end of the day, we are still at war, we are still fighting terrorists, and life goes on.
