“Fordham, once Foley's top aide, is known to be gay. CBS News has learned that several other top Republican staffers who handled the Foley matter are also gay.”

I can smell where this story is going. It will turn out that a clique of high-ranking gay Republican staffers were partying and whoring around, and protecting each other’s asses (OK, not the best choice of phrase) at the same time as the GOP went on jihad against gays.

Moral Majority voters will have a shitfit when the story breaks. From here on, they’d sooner vote for a Jew than vote Republican.

Well.... Jews do tend to be fiscally conservative.
I met Joseph Lieberman during his campaign for the primaries in the 2004 election, and I thought he was a sharp guy.
