CAPITAL GAINS TAX

MCCAIN
0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples). McCain does not propose any change in existing home sales income tax.

OBAMA
28% on profit from ALL home sales. (How does this affect you? If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your gain on taxes. If you are heading toward retirement and would like to down-size your home or move into a retirement community, 28% of the money you make from your home will go to taxes. This proposal will adversely affect the elderly who are counting on the income from their homes as part of their retirement income.)

DIVIDEND TAX

MCCAIN
15% (no change)

OBAMA
39.6% - (How will this affect you? If you have any money invested in stock market, IRA, mutual funds, college funds, life insurance, retirement accounts, or anything that pays or reinvests dividends, you will now be paying nearly 40% of the money earned on taxes if Obama becomes president. The experts predict that 'Higher tax rates on dividends and capital gains would crash the stock market, yet do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.')

INCOME TAX

MCCAIN

(no changes)
Single making 30K - tax $4,500
Single making 50K - tax $12,500
Single making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 60K- tax $9,000
Married making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 125K - tax $31,250

OBAMA (reversion to pre-Bush tax cuts)
Single making 30K - tax $8,400
Single making 50K - tax $14,000
Single making 75K - tax $23,250
Married making 60K - tax $16,800
Married making 75K - tax $21,000
Married making 125K - tax $38,750
Under Obama, your taxes could almost double!

INHERITANCE TAX

MCCAIN
- 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)

OBAMA
Restore the inheritance tax

Many families have lost businesses, farms, ranches, and homes that have been in their families for generations because they could not afford the inheritance tax. Those willing their assets to loved ones will only lose them to these taxes.

NEW TAXES PROPOSED BY OBAMA

New government taxes proposed on homes that are more than 2400 square feet. New gasoline taxes (as if gas weren't high enough already) New taxes on natural resources consumption (heating gas, water, electricity) New taxes on retirement accounts, and last but not least....New taxes to pay for socialized medicine so we can receive the same level of medical care as other third-world countries!!!

McCain: Voted with Bush's failed economic plans, oppression of rights 90% of the time.

-Favors putting the tax burden on the middle class (Obama's plan will lower middle class taxes by 3x what John McCain will, and by taxing the wealthy will also provide more social programs)

- Does not support equal pay for equal work (he voted against the Ledbetter act) or other woman's rights such as the right to choose.

- Supports institutionalized bigotry (by making a constitutional ammendment against gays) and voted against having MLK day.

-Cheated on his 1st wife while she had cancer

- Picked a VP (who, with McCain's age is a heartbeat from the presidency) who supports laws that increase the number of abortions (no sex-ed, teaching of birth control)

- Supported a lie that got 4,000 americans and over half-a-million innocent Iraqis killed

Obama:

- Proposed an ammendment that would make telecom/internet providers able to be sued for sharing private info without a warrant.

-Will lower the amount the average family pays for healthcare by 50-75% by using preventative care instead of emergency rooms.

- Is well liked around the world and can help change the damage to our reputation done by George Bush.

McCAIN SUPPORTS FEDERAL AAS TESTING AND HAS PROMISED TO COME DOWN HARD ON STEROIDS!!!!

Your tax equations are incorrect and intentionally manipulated to include factors not normally present in those groups, plus the middle class ends up getting out more than they put in (like health care cost reductions, etc.) and as a result saves lots of $$$$$

NickM357, I want you to re-read everything I posted, Then I want you to check ALL of the source web sites I listed. They are all very reliable sources eg: CNN, AARP and more!
Obama is a very bad choice, do you remmember about 2 months ago his little friend the precher?
Your name has the number 357 I am assuming 1 of 2 things. 1: those are just numbers you picked for a name. or 2: you have or like Guns and you really like a .357 What is the answer?
If it is 2, if obama gets into office your going to lose your right to carry and maybe even own that .357
Do some more research on the sources I posted!!!

The reality of this whole situation is simple, which of the two candidates will you trust to keep you safe? Healthcare, economy, taxes are unimportant when you are being attacked. Im voting McCain! He WILL keep us safe, Obama is far too wek on this issue. To think you can have a diplomatic, or productive engagement with someone who denies the holocaust is insane. And this from an Ivy League educated man! Wake up people. And since when is Obama going to legalize AAS use? Why even bring this up? Here is the underlining fact about Dems and GOP; ATTITUDE! Dems whant everything handed to them, GOP wants to work hard for it!

OBAMA= Infanticide and MURDER

McCain= Life, Liberty and the Persuit of Happiness
