I got my trackor tyre. It's big,! me and my friend had a struggle getting it off the trailor he brought it around on,as it was wedged inbetween the sides of the trailor. But we got it in three "heeve hoes" Now I just need to workout which day I should start throwing it around. i.e; leg day, back day, shoulder day? Before or after training. anyone have any suggestions? |

Its not too much trouble to flip. I think if I do it the length of my back yard a couple of times,I should more than likely shit myself at the end of my workout. That's what I'm looking for ,so I think I'll do it like that. Yeah ,I'll try doing it on leg day, thanks for the input. The other day I flipped it a couple of times, just to see how heavy it is, that was after I'd been doing some heavy shoulder shrugs in my 'rage {garage} gym. I felt my trap on one side stretch it felt good. I think this is going to be good for my over all strength and size. |

Hey bro, how did you come up with the weight for that? I am asking because I am going to pick up a tire or two in the next couple days and have been doing the Google search thing for tire weights and am not having much luck. I know some of it depends on the ply rating. Just curious if you have a chart, link or something. I was looking at the 23.5x25 and the 26.5x25. I saw a nice little one that was like 20.5x25 that I thought might be good for warmups and cardio. My wife will frickin kill me if I try and bring home 3 tires...lol. Thanks for any help. Sorry jasthace, was't trying to hijack your thread, but I guess I did. Peace, Mad_dawg

This strongman site mentions 23.5 25 and 23.5 R 25 tyre sizes and weights http://www.ontariostrongman.ca/Resou...ic_primer.html The tyre I have has a good square edge on one side which makes it easier to get a hold/grip of, But the other side the edge is very rounded {from ware & tear} this makes it a hell of alot harder to lift as I need to put more force into my wrists to stop it slipping. [It was wet the other day too,so I had to get an old shirt to hold, so's to get some grip} My forearms were to first to give. |
