Default Getting Started

I'm looking for well educated intellectuals for advice. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Age: 33
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 182
Sex: M
Test: 536
BF%: 15-20

My current symptoms are:
-gyno (very slight, but people notice and make fun of me)
-increase in body fat % (used to be 3-5% until last year)
-can't finish a workout (used to go balls out almost to the point of puking, cant now)
-can't focus at work, not as sharp, can't concentrate
-tired all the time, can't get myself out of bed
-no motivation, lazy, lathargic
-no libido (I know it works, at least when I'm sleeping)
-orgasm not strong, sperm count lower than used to be
-results from lifting seem to have halted (I've done aggressive routines and can provide details)
-Gut and Butt accumulating the most fat, i want a six pack
-bad memory loss, cant study or remember material to pass tests

My history over the last year:
I blew out my L4-L5 last August doing sumo squats and was only doing 225 lbs. In high school I was able to do 225 20-25 reps with ease, now different body parts are breaking! Before the injury I was on 14-20 different OTC supplements to compensate for lack of energy, motivation, quality of sessions. I've tried a lot and it helped to some extent but I experienced severe aggression, anxiety, insomnia, and slight hair loss. I was taking 1mg propecia daily for MPB during this time. After the injury, I stopped everything except the propecia and began taking norco, soma, and diclofenac / ibu 800. I stopped propecia in December and have had accelerated hair loss since. I stopped the other meds in April. Since then, I've gained fat and have signs of gyno. No nipple sensitivity, but I did have them pierced for several years of my life.

Two weeks ago, I started the exercise routine and diet that I was doing last year before the injury.

My goals:
-eliminate all symptoms above
-need focus, memory, concentration so I can perform at work
-get back to 4-5% body fat, want to get rid of the flab
-more muscle and definition than ive ever had before in my life, been lifting since a teenager and tired of mediocre results.
-overall improve my health and well being
-eliminate gyno
-restore libido

I would like to achieve this in 2 months but if I need a little longer, so be it. I rather do it right and slow than fast and wrong. HOWEVER, don't interpet this the wrong way. I already have a tight diet and exercise routine, continued from last year. That by itself is not working. I'm looking to use test enth, 10 amps 250mg, 35 tabs of winny.

This should be enough to get the thread going. Later I have questions about:
-the best method/cycle to use this.
-Need PCT advice as well.

Any advice is appreciated.

FIrst of all, WELCOME TO AGE 33. This is about when everything starts to go in the shitter for sure. Most likely a lot of your problems are simple coincidental age related. You need to get more labs. Free test, e2, sbgh, etc/// I have heard alot of people claiming long term probs from propecia/finestrde. Not sure though, never paid enough attention to determine if coincidental or not... FInd out what labs to get in trt forum. THese guys all say that estriadol is the main problem as for getting out of wack and hard to control.. I am guessing simple aging and you need to familiarize yourself with hormone replament therapy, if you want to feel good again. You may have juiced right through your natural decline and woke up in a vanilla sky...

That's just great. Thanks. But that's one thing I figured about age. For the propecia though, I did not hear any long term side effects. What have you heard exactly? Is it what I've already listed? Was not expecting that, but this is why I posted all of that info. In case someone has heard of or knows something that I do not. Through all the reading I've been doing, I had the same idea of estrogen/estriadol may be the cause for agression and rage. I started to take the OTC supps cuz of not being able to finish a workout like I used too. Vanilla sky? This feels more like hell. I'm looking in to HRT right now actually. Thanks, this helps a lot.

Yep, sure did. I know, it's embarassing. I first blew a disc about 10 years ago. So I had that in the back of my mind and didn't want to do it again. And a year ago, I didn't know the pituitary gland was shutting down, which means less HGH, and T production, which equals being weaker and more susceptible to injury.

Something I noticed that may be useful to know. The discs in your back weaken with age. The are filled with a jelly type substance and they basically dry up as you get older. There is absolutely nothing anyone can do about it either. When you herniate or buldge a disc, the jelly squeezes out of the disc against the nerves in your spine (sciatica for example). When I took Nitrix especially, but creatine or anything similar, it made the pain less. I believe this would accelerate recovery, if you rest and do not put any weight / load on the spine. I have to mention I'm not a doctor. All I can say is I noticed a significant difference, for the better, when I took these supps. I believe the reason is due to the saturation of the body cells with water. Therefore reversing the drying up of the jelly like substance in the disc.

get your thyroid checked again...Take some injectable vitamin b6 and b12 for at least one month. Cut as much white sugar out of your diet that you can and keep your carb intake a little lower than usual you might be a diabetic so get a glucose test as well.I am not a doctor but I do work in a hospital. Your symptoms cover quite a few things but start with this and go from there.

Another thought after your last post. I was supprised to hear you say that creatine helps your back. I would have thought the opposite. You definitely are exactly right on the creatine causing the water retention in your body. I have taken 20 mgs/day for 40 days and swear I saw it comming out in urine stream as it was ripping my kidneys apart. I am a big advocate when it comes to working out for gains, other that that, I am worried about long term kidney damage. If it helps your back then SUPER!!.. First reading, I wondered how so?? Cause me and all my buds allways had arthritic flares everywhere once fully loaded, and we assumed due to water retention. Same as the way people can tell you rain is one the way as the air gets moister.. I had hip flairs and knucles hurt. these are areas I am genetically prove to arthritis. My buddy could not even walk due to back pain after long enough on it. BUT, not that I think about it, he has a genetic condition where the bones in his lower back fuse over time. Again this is related to calcium, and bone, which additional muscle stress from excess water throws out of its "natural whack". Your condition is obviously one very different. My other buddy with bad ruptured disk I am surely going to speak of this. If he tries and has success I will certainly post back. Very interesting!!!

twigman, I've been taking vitamin B6/B12 for about 3 weeks now and it seems to give me a little more energy, but I haven't experimented with it enough to give an accurate assessment. The more I read about processed sugar, the more it seems likely to be the cause of disease. Even more so than cholesterol. I've cut my intake of this but not totally yet. Working on that though. I've done a couple labs and my doc didn't mention anything about diabetes. Type II runs in the family, but that's just poor diet and laziness. That is exactly what I do not want to be when I grow up I think my symptoms are the result of mutliple problems. I don't think all of this will get fixed overnight, but probably better to start fixing it now, then waiting.

BBC3, I was suprised as well. Keep in mind Nitrix yield the best result, over creatine alone. Nitrix does have creatine in it. I'm guessing the transport in Nitrix had something to do with it. I'm not a scientist so I can only guess at this point. 20mg a day! I'm surprised you still have kidneys, they must hate you. From what I've read, no more than 10mg a day, and your body in most cases doesn't even use all of that. So in essence taking any more of a supp than your body uses is just working your live/kidneys harder. I would use micronized creatine and take it twice a day, once when I wake up, then once right before the gym. I did this for about 2 months then would take a break. Cycling seemed to have better results as creatine seemed to stop working after a while. I would use different transports as well during each cycle. I've had problems with my elbow and knuckles as well. I used Triflex, straight glucosamine and chondritin, and jello/shark cartilage to combat joint problems. It seemed to work for me. You may want to tell your buddy this next part. At first, standing/walking was painful. Nitrix helped with the pain to the point where I was able to get on a ladder and paint, lift objects, etc. All the things that I should not have done. So it masked the problem. Needless to say, I was in more pain after it wore off. At the end of it all, I could not walk nor stand up straight and the Nitrix didn't help much at this point. It was Norco, Soma, diclofenac 5-6 times a day and on a couch 24x7. If it hurts, this will help, but NOT fix the herniated disc. In my experience PT, utilizing electro therapy and ultrasound three times a week, plus anti inflamatory's should recover your buddy in 4-6wks. I didn't do PT last time, didn't rest, and it took me 6-9 months to recover.

Thanks to both of you for your time.
