Re: 1 inch for glutes works fine
I've been injecting since the 1980's. Personally unless you are under 6 foot, and in the single digits in body fat you should not even consider bootin the glutes with a 1". Trust me, I know. I got a 'lump' in my left glute that I thought was no big deal. I only inj once a week and switched sides back then. Well story short I was just at the tip of the glute muscle and each inj would cause more scaring tisue in that spot. By the time I figured it out it was probably the size of a golf ball. I leaned out for a contest and it looked like a bad sythrol shot so I skipped the show. Thank goodness it didn't turn into an abcess and it did finally go away where you can't see it visually about five years later. Today, I use a 1.5 inch in my delts, legs, etc. I have never shot that glute since that happened and can still feel a small marble there. Don't take a chance, use a1.5" . FYI there is a big demand building in the medical field for 2" needles for the general public as we as a nation become fatter and fatter.
