2 questions on homebrew

1. The instructions I'm following said to let the pellets dissolve over night. I did it a little longer (like 24 hrs). I think I remember reading somewhere that if you let them sit in the solution too long some sort of oxidation occurs that can fuck it up. Is that true?
2. This is my 1st homebrew and I hear the injections are sometimes for painful, usually because people use too much ba/bb or try to OD the gear in the solution. But, if you follow the directions right should the injections really be more painful?

my homebrews have always been pain free when i followed directions. as to leaving in disolving solution too long , i once left a batch in liquid for 3 days and it was clumpy and just looked bad i ended up throwing it out.......
