I am currently starting my 6th week on test. cypionate, I am seeing very minimal results, my diet isnt perfect but there is no lack of eating and supplementing my diet with shakes. Could the test just be taking a little longer to kick in or could there be other factors having to do with me not really gaining size?

I Too Have Been Through The Same Senario. Very Minimal Strength Or Mass Gains. My Age Is 49 And Think This May Be An Issue. I Was Thinking I Could Get The Same Feelings/results I Experienced Some 28 Years Ago. But No - I Saw Zilch And Think What I Got Was Bogus. So I Went And Purchased Another 10 Week Cycle From A Reputable Source. And Still Got Zero! Wtf! Is It The Sign Of The Times?

I know the stuff I got is not a fake because my strength has gone up lifting more than I have ever in the past and I have also got some sides to the cycle with puffyness and a hard lump in my right nipple. I was on Nolva to take care of that and then Letrozole to get rid of the lump. I know Letro could effect gains but not by much. Is there anyway that it could just not be kicking in right away in this specific case?

If your getting enough protein and keeping your reps @ 12 or less going to failure it will happen. But it takes time. If your putting on a pound a week your average but you cannot count the first 3 wks since its cyp. 12lbs on a cycle is avg. Im sorry I did not specify.. gains in size is what I am referring to.. my strength is up but not by much. I am just saying I do not think I got fake test. But since I am on my 6th week I would of expected some gains by now, I am not counting the 3-4 weeks in the beginning but by now dont you think I should be seeing some significant gains in size?

I am 5'10, starting wieght of 163-165 lbs, I tend to fluctuate alot and now I am 170. I do not measure out my cal, protein, or carb intake, however I try to eat as much as I can as many times I can and then have protein shakes throughout the day. My diet I am not worried about my diet so much but I may be mistaken, I keep my calories up with foods that are higher in protein and carbs. My lifting routine is mostly low reps with all exercies, max reps of 12 for the first set, working down from 10, 8, 6 reps. My first exercise that day I will do four sets, then four more exercises of 3 sets each. I do tend to fluctuate my exercise routine also. Monday- Chest Tuesday- Back, Bi Wed- Legs Thursday- Shoulders Friday- Chest, tri By the five pounds you wrote above, did you mean for the time I am at now in my cycle or overall gains. I am doing a 12 week long cycle. Am I expecting too much from this cycle? |

You HAVE to know your diet just like Andy said. I know guys that swear they are eating 5000 cals a day and when they count up, they are only eating 2800 or so. You want to be getting in around 4000 cals. On your Fri workout, make sure not to overdue your chest again or you will overtrain it. Are you doing any cardio too? Also, to answer your earlier question, the nolva and letro will have a HUGE impact on your gains. If you have stopped the gyno, try to cut back to only 10mgs of nolva ed or eod to keep it away but not to hinder your gains.

In fact more important than anything. 90% of the people who are having trouble gaining size find there diet is the problem. Educate yourself about nutrition. I even heard some morons say that pasta is high in protein. And another moron said the most important meal is 30min before you workout. Nothing is further from the truth, People need to educate themselves and things work out much nicer. Andy and BB both speak the truth so please start keeping track of everything you eat. You can start here. And don't guess at amounts, weigh it, you'll be suprised at the amounts and be saying "WOW! Thats 6 ounces?"
