Accutane results

I just finished 5 months of accutane. I worked for me. The drawback is all the sides. I had bad joint pain, no energy at all, dry skin and depression. This stuff should be avoided and used as a last resort. If you decide to use it stock up on the chap stick and lotion.

started my therapy a month ago,,,this is my second therapy, first one was two years ago, but anyhow, another shitty part of it is the govt is treating isotretinoin like scheduled drug, acquiring special prescription, and you cant get a refill unless you get a new prescription everytime.

for anyone who cares, my dermatologist told me that one of the Bush adimnistration's politician's son killed himself after drinking and partying on accutane so thats why they are being so strict with this shit, maybe if one of them get AIDS or some sort of cancer, they will come up with the cure faster i guess if thats how they do things

im on 80 mg a day--its killing me im so exhausted.
my joints hurt ..but the worst part is coming home
from work, sitting on the couch ready to pass out only to
know you have to go to the gym

80mg per day is pretty much a max dose for most people,,you must have some pretty bad acne. I've only had to use 40mg per day for maybe a few days then go to 20mg ed to eod to clear up and keep it at bay. At those doses the sides are pretty much kept to a bare minimum.

were u guys on it prescribed? i went on it twice. both 5 months firs time 40 mg a day the next time 80. it wasnt that i had real bad acne it was more.. of the highesr dosage the less chance it comes back. anyways im gonna do 20 mg a week but was wondering if i goto the dermatoligist and he does blood work will anything in my cycle show up?

I loved accutane. Sides sucked but I've been crystal clear for a year. Problem is I'm trying to find cycles that wont cause recurrence of acne. DOn't wanna hijack ur thread but any suggestions

rob3412 i wanted to get some accutane but my previous blood work kept showing high liver values and high cholesterol, my doc says high, i looked at the number, and its like borderline but he just wanted to make sure, and it took 1 month or so for all the values to go down to normal range then he gave me the prescription for the tane




dr. dnp, i say, primo, or anavar, or eq,,,,,but the shitty thing is you cant use high dosage of it, then you cant gain much from it unless you have good genes, all the 'fun' and good steroids are the harsh ass ones for your skin, like fina and high dose test,


oh yeah best chapstick for accutane lips, in my opinion, is vaseline lip therapy.

also cetaphil cream works well instead of regular lotion

I was on 80mg for 5 months. I hurt so bad I couldn't lift. I would try decca.

When I was on Accutane my lower back hurt and my hands, knees, ankles, feet, and elbows killed.Is it pretty well known you won't get any zits or bumps at all once you get done with your treatment if you are one of the 85%?I just got off about 2 weeks ago.Would you think running some Tren/EQ/and Omnadren will help with joint and muscle pain?Thank you.

I just finished accutane about 2 weeks ago. I would let your liver take a break man. Accutane trashes your liver. Not to mention the beating your liver took from the steroids before you started the accutane. Start takeing a multi-vitamin and milk thistle everyday. I drink coffee everyday it works like a S.O.B. My joints still hurt and my energy sucks but I'm awake dammit!!! lol

word. shit is harsh. i did a 3month treatment in my mid 20's. when i was a kid and everyone else had zits, i had them worse. when everyonelse cleared up, i still had zits. when everything else failed(antibiotics), doc put me on the accutane. i had to put vasoline in my nose so i wouldnt get nose bleeds. over 10 years later, i cant hydrate as well as before. but i never get zits. no matter how poor my hygene, diet or any aspect of lifestyle gets. i dont get zits. damn, im thirsty again.

What was your max dosage and how much do you weigh? Just curious. I am thinking of doing a course and I want to know what I am in for.

I was running 60 a day.I was just starting to break out very bad but didn't have real severe acne but you could see it coming on.It didn't do much until month 4 then by month 5 I was almost perfectly clear.For most of you that were on Accutane did it seem to clear and fade old scars you had from acne before the treatment?
