Default Adex for flare ups?

Will Arimidex work for flare ups as well as for blocking the estrogen? I know most people say nolva for gyno flare ups but I was going to use my Nolva in PCT. I have a little spot that seems to be acting up. will arimidex get rid of it?

well, adex is used to stop estrogen production. nolva is used to stop the estrogen fron bonding to receptors. so adex will make it so your body doesnt produce any more estrogen, but the estrogen that is still circulating your body will be free to bond to the estrogen receptors and possibly give you gyno. i dont know im not a doctor, but id take some nolva

Thanks massive

I will take the nolva. after the nipple isnt hurting or anything anymore, can the Nolva be stopped and Arimidex be used at say .25mg a day to make sure this doesnt happen again? or should I use the Nolva even after the pain goes away?

I had a similar problem recently. I think based on not using an anti-e while on some prohormones. I popped 40mg nolva for two days, then lowered it to 20mg for another 5 or 6 days. There is still a tiny bit of tenderness, but overall I would say the problem is aleviated.

I think Massive is right, ari wont do anything for a current gyno problem, but it will help prevent a recurrence once its gone.

I would do the two together that way there won't be any estrogen compounds produced while you wait for the estrogen in you system to clear.

I started the Arimidex at .25 ed and also started my nolva. the problem seems to be going away quickly. Its not hurting half as much. Maybe it wasnt gyno but I wanna be safe. It seemed one nipple hurt to press on it and one nipple was itchy, kinda weird.

It can manifest that way(varying symptoms with each nipple). It does sound like gyno. It can react quickly to treatment if its caught early enough. Now enjoy the rest of your cycle.
