I like IM, i have no problems when going IM

when i go SC i somtimes get a little more swellin, or a red lump

just my 2 cc's

i do 1000mcg ed....only diff between im and sc is absorbtion time

I do sub-q only cause the needle is smaller and I don't get scar tissue buildup in more important injection sites.

anyone know how long a sc inj stays in the body active compared to an im inj-- this would tell me how often and help with how much-- 5000mcg a weeh may be heavy no?

I don't know the relative diffusion times, but many people do 1000mcgs/day for weeks on end. You can't OD on B12, and it's really cheap. IM is still better IMO.

For people who lack the intrinsic factor to produce b-12 they are prescribed 1000mcg q month.1000mcg a week is surely plenty and 1000mcg everyday is a ridiculous overkill.Should be admin. IM.

Why do you say it should be administered IM?? B12 can be injected SubQ, IM, and even IV (not sure why anybody would want to do IV, but it is possible). This is straight off the bottle, BTW.
