bad quality ALA ?

I'm getting ALA 500 mg 3xD. I still get fat and doesn't get much LBM with proper AAS, training and food. This ALA comes from Theministryoffitness (Ireland) a whey protein manufacturer with got good reputation in the British Isles. I can,t imagine their ALA being of bad quality.
