After I injected 1 ml in my shoulder this morning I waited 10 sec then slowly pulled the needle out(1"22G). When I did some dark blood ran down my arm about 6 inches. I swabbed off the blood, the injection site wasn't bleeding anymore or anything. But this is the first time I have had that much blood follow the needle out. Just wondering if anyone can tell me why? Not sure if it was a good injection in the muscle or what.
Depends on the size of your shoulder, it is possible your pin passed through a vein, no worries as long as you drew back first with no blood in the pin, if you have some size 200+ pounds try a 23g 1 1/2 inch if soulders are smaller try 23g 1inch if looking at your shoulder try to center it where the most meat is and insert at a downward angle /
Not a big deal bro, happens some time. Hit a vessel. I have had it spray all over the bathroom from my quad before. Alway try to pull the needle out and hit with Etoh swab in one motion.

Did you aspirate the needle before you injected? If you did and no blood filled the needle your fine. If you didn’t, you most likely lost some of your gear to bleed out.
Most likely you severed a small blood vessel on the way in. When you pulled out the needle it bleed a little. NO BIG DEAL. I don’t know why you waited 10 sec to pull out the needle, no reason to do it really slow either. Just inject, aspirate, and pull out!
Yeah I did aspirate but only a little bit. Saw a few air bubbles and had good suction. So I figured I was good to go. I am bulky and right handed and have thick muscular shoulders - 5'9" 230lbs. I was shooting in my right shoulder so it was kinda hard to aspirate real good with my left thumb. Don't think I could have went through the muscle but wasn't 100% sure. Prob just hit a vessel I guess.
You probably passed threw a vein then when you pulled out you bled.
Wait till you do that in your Quad and it squirts out 3"-5" I still hate that and seen it many times.
PS. you aspirate cuz of veins not vessels.

If there's air in the pin, you can fool yourself into believing you've aspirated. Make sure there's oil in the pin before you sink it in, then if you pull air you know it's coming from outside.
