yeah bro, i've had some trouble with that before. this summer i had a little incident. got done working out and like always i drank my shake (just protein, no carbs) on the way home. got home start cooking my meal and got in the shower. well the meal ended up taking longer than normal and i started feeling pretty bad. ended up having the worst cold sweat. i was laying on the couch in my boxers with a fan directly on me, light headed as hell downing sugar cookies and a coke. my roommate kept asking if he needed to call an amublance. just told him i needed to get some sugar and carbs in me. my ex had a brother with diabetes and he had an episode one time and had to be taken to the hospital. scary shit. but anyways, i just make sure i have some apple juice after working out and some at the house. that usually works

Yeah I'm starting to think it might be better to replace the protein shake after the workout with something that contains more than just proteins. The problem with the goddamn weight gain powders that are loaded with carbs and CEE is that they need a blender to mix, whereas I can just chuck the protein powder in a bottle of water after a workout and shake it up and it's good to go. Juice boxes are good too though, I kept some of those in my locker and just down one after each workout. It's especially good since I have to walk home from the gym after and I don't wanna be caught with low blood sugar in the middle of some street.

yeah dude, that would suck to be walking home and start freaking out. i make sure i get plenty of carbs about an hour and a half before my workout, drink about a cup of apple juice right before working out and a protein only shake before too. then when i'm done i drink another protein shake in the car and immediately when i walk in the door drink another cup of apple juice and then plenty of carbs in the meal after that. getting that feeling sucks, makes me not wanna mess around with insulin any time soon

The reason your blood sugar levels drop is because AAS suppress cortisol. Some moreso than others. When cortisol is suppressed, blood sugar levels drop. You can supplement with isocort or low dose hydrocortisone if you wish.
