Bump on Quad

4 weeks in on Test Prop and dont mind the sore quads, but today I noticed that there is a large bump where I injected this morning. Feels like a softball in in my leg.

Never had this before and want to know if I have a serious problem or if this normally goes away.

I would go get checked out by a doc man, it sounds like you got an abscess. Good luck!

would an abscess start a bump so quickly?

It has been 30 hours now and my lag is pretty tight. Bump still there and I notice that if I sit still in my chair it feels fine (perhaps a little warm) but if i walk my quad is real tight. There is a little bit of color that covers the area of a silver dollar.

I did notice more pain than normal when i injected, just didn't feel right.

What do I tell the doctor? "Um....Er....Uh....I got kicked in the leg!"

Look man you have to remember your health is more important than the gear. Tell the doctor whatever you want. When you see a doctor and tell him you are on anything, he cannot legally say anything. An abscess will be warm and it will sometimes look like prickly heat. Dont wait to long man. Just trying to help you out. Good luck.

doc appt for tomorrow morning. from what i have read i should ask for some strong antibiotics and hope that it goes away on its own. if not then i guess i am in a world of hurt.

If it's an abcess you will get some antibiotics and be fine,It could also have been that you shot a little too much in that area too fast and the oil did not dispearse but if it gets bigger it's an abcess if not it's the oil.

If it is red and hot then this is not good.

I have had lumps before and I kept an eye on them.
I iced once and that actually did make it feel better.
Got a bit of a fever at night during sleep but then it all passed and the lump went away.

thanks guys. the doctor seemed very concerned. he put me on Sulfa antibiotics and now day four i notice that it is going away.

even though I never reuse pins and always use plenty of alcohol, I will prob always take a shower first from now on (this was the one time that i didn't, i stayed up the night before humping all night and i was in a hurry to get to work).

I will also take things a little slower, especially since i am about to add Tren A to the Test Prop injections and there will be more to inject.

I doubt very seriously if it was an abcess.. sounds like you some inflamation due to the trauma or to the B.A. Warm is not a symptom of an abcess..

I'm guessing you would have been just fine had you elected not to go the Dr. But Seriously man.. YOu can't get an abcess that fast..

an abcess can show up in about 48 hours. It just depends on the type of bacteria invasion you have.

How long does it take for an abscess to form? I've got something the size of an acrorn near an injection site that took about six weeks to fully develop. It's not super painful or hot to the touch, so I'm thinking it's scare tissue.
