Default Carb Depletion for DNP cycle

Hey guys,

When some of you carb deplete prior to your DNP cycle, do you step down your carb intake over three days (i.e., 3 days prior to DNP- 75g carbs, 2 days prior- 25 grams, 1 day prior- 0g carbs), or do you just cut out all your carbs for about 2 days prior to taking your first 200mg of DNP?

Right now, I am about 177lbs and about 7%bf, so I will likely stay with 200mg DNP for 12 days and not bump it up to 400mg (I don't want to drop too much weight). That said, in addition to the carb depleting prior to my DNP cycle, I will also likely keep a lower carb diet during the DNP cycle (unless I am going so crazy that I will up the carbs a bit to stay alive, LOL). My target weight/ bf% is right around 171lbs/ 5.5-6%bf.

Thanks for the help guys!

I most definietly have seen and read that post (and others). Since there are a bunch of ways that guys can go about carb depleting, I was wanting to hear about their experiences and way in which they were carb depleteing. The "How not to fuck up DNP" post only mentions carb depleting, not how guys have done it.

Stop eating carbs. That wasn't so hard.--That's that!

I've read that it takes up to three days of carb depletion to deplete the skeletal muscles and the liver of glycogen stores. If you don't deplete glycogen stores, then your body can technically make its own sugar (break down glycogen into gluclose).

So I'd probably just cut carbs completely for four days prior.

Why?

What's not so hard is to post a vague, seemingly sarcastic instruction. And then insult the guy asking a good question, IMO. Good questions are hard to find. They will stay hard to find if people are made fun of for asking them.

How do you carb deplete? Personally, I stop eating carbs. Hey if you think that's a good question then maybe you need to find a better board my friend. I wasn't making fun of him I answered his question. It was meant as a humorous jab but apparently guys like you are so sensitive that it hurts your feelings even when you're not the one being spoken to.

While that's-that is technically correct, if you're looking to speed up the process I would do a couple carb depletion workouts, example:
Day 1: Stop eating carbs after post workout meal.
Day 2: Continue no carbs along with carb depletion workout consisting of a circuit of 5-6 compound exercises for high reps (20+). Don't go to failure at all on these sets.
Day 3: Continue no carbs along with second carb depletion workout same as day 2.
Day 4: Take first dose of DNP in a.m.

I think you know as much about carb depletion as you know about making intelligent statements.

I honestly don't know why a Moderator wouldn't have said anything about your smart ass posts. Maybe one has and I just don't know about it. Either way, Meso is a board for learning and discussion. Steroidology and others are good places for teen-agers like you to take out their pubecent aggression.

Hey girlfriend, when I break a board rule I'll take my medicine. As for not knowing what I'm talking about I think you may be a little jaded. I work in and around the medical community daily. That's as much as I'll say.

Stop whining for God's sake. I take it you feel you could do a better job as a moderator than the one's the admin appointed? That's a ballsy statement.

Did you mean to say pre-pubescent? Just hush and listen while the grown ups speak. We need you to use you "indoor" voice from now on.--That's that!
