Alrite I`ll admit it - I`m chicken. Got all the stuff together, vial of TE, 25x1, alcohol, even loaded the syringe. Researched the anatomy of the thigh- know the arteries, veins and muscles- convinced I`m not gonna fuck myself up- just cant quite jabit in. Dont really have a thing about needles. Shots, blood test sticks and IVs dont bother me much. I guess the problem is I dont know how much force to use. I know that the fast the better- but I dont want to jab it into the bone. Guess its like throwing a dart. Hold the syringe back far enough from the needle that when you slap the leg and drive it in the edge of the hand prevents it from going too far in? Then adjust the needle depth. Pull back on the plunger to make sure you`re not in a vein or artery. Then slowly push the plunger down. Right ?
One more thing. Do I replace the sharp after poking the vial ? Read somewhere that its a good idea cause the rubber dulls the needle.

I jab slow. Screw that "faster the better" bullshit. Just stretch the skin w/ your finger and thumb, put the point of the needle on the skin and hold onto the needle tight like a dart and push a little, the sharpness wll do the all the work. It doesn't hurt bro... espcially the first time if you're scared your adrenaline will be up and you'll be suprised how smooth the needle will go in. Just don't tense up, relax. You're not going to fuck yourself up. And I always change the needle after I draw out of the vial.

Definitely change the needle after drawing... but other than that you should be good to go. I am an absolute pussy about needles, and shots, if I can do it I'm sure you can. I highly doubt you'll fuck yourself up with a shot of Test, especially in the quad. Maybe your leg will be a little sore, but the effects of the Test will make you forget about it.

all good advice above.Do not jab it in bro.Sit down..relax..use new needle after drawing from vial...alcohol area to be used..just barely touch needle to skin where you will inject and just slowly push it in...make sure you go minimum of 1"..1 1/4" would be even better/ push the plunger in slowly also...let us know how it went

All great advise, and I am also a newbie to the pinning game...but it's really not that bad. do a search on the "Z Method", basically load your pin and:
1. Pick a spot
2. Alcohol said spot (oh yeah, let it dry before you go any further...trust me)
3. Take a finger from your non-pinning hand and pull the skin to one side about 1/2 to 1 inch...push the pin in (I also tend to push it in slowly...let the pin do the work)
4. aspirate
5. inject (a note on this...you should leave a little bit of air in the pin before you inject so you can clear all of the oil out of the pin. No worries, a little bubble going into a muscle is not dangerous and this way you get all of the oil...I wait for the little hiss from the pin before I know its all in)
6. Massage site

The first time I stuck myself I was worried sick and just about couldnt do it...but You got the stuff, what the hell else you gonna do? I'm in PCT right now but my next cycle will be EOD injects, and I was a complete puss before I did a cycle so trust me, once you see the benefit it gets a lot easier. I'm actually looking forward to it

Thanks everyone ! I`m sure I will be fine after I do it once. Everyone says push it in slow but i remember flu shots that were so fast it was over before you knew it. And it it didnt hurt abit.
Doesnt anyone do it fast ?

A flu shot isn't a lot of liquid. With AAS you're filling up your muscle with at least 1ml of oil so it's best to do it slowly. You don't feel it go in at all so don't worry. To be honest flu shots and IGF shots, anything w/ a slin pin, hurts a lot more then a 22-23 1-1.5inch needle.
Post injection pain is what you gotta watch out for w/ AAS.

No No. I didnt mean push the plunger in fast. I meant push the needle in fast vs slow.
Now that I think about it I have had some bad experiences in the hospital with IV sticks to the point of tell the RN to stop when they were fishing for a vein under the skin with an 18 g needle. More than once. I think I got some issues here.

I penatrated slowly, and I swear, I could feel the individual nerve trunks as the needle penatrated the muscle. The deeper it went the closely they were packed. I kept the pressure on the plunger as the needle penatrated to diffuse the oil thru a larger a muscle volume.
The pain was insignificant. The unknown was the root of my fear. Cant wait to do it again.

I would recommend slowly, but this is personal preference. A lot of people will tell you to jab the needle in quickly. These people usually stop that practice after the first time they hit a nerve going in at full speed (usually quad shots). By going in slowly, you'll have more time to react if you hit a nerve. "
