the witchhunt will only get worse in the next year. People had really better start thinking before they place orders...things ain't gonna be like they used to be.
Maybe it will get people paying more attention to their training and diet rather than relying on drugs to make even moderate gains.
Damn straight, Grizzly. I have stopped using steroids, mainly for legal reasons, and I am honestly still making great gains. If only I had found this weight gainer I am using now while I was using AAS, I probably would have hit 250 (never did, but tried damn hard). Problem is, I relied too much on test and d-bol for weight gainer.
No doubt, it is a bit harder to train without assistance, but the way I look at it, if I get to where I am making incredible gains from proper diet, training, and motivation (which is admittedly more difficult without AAS) then I am no worse off than before. I would say 99% of people who use steroids really don't need to, and maybe the only good out of these laws will be that they will discourage skinny frat boys from relying on a bottle of test to get them huge.

also it would be nice to mention that if steroids are so bad for you, why our the people that are trying to take down AAS in America(LE,Police officers) gettin busted for using and buying...I mean geez, look at the thread just a couple away from this one about the TX LE gettin busted for bringin juice across teh border, thats complete nonsense, how bad can they be.....NOT BAD
Deacon - how about you read the book before you declare it a failure?
Yes, I think inflated prices are just one consequence. I'm more worried about diverting resources, increasing an already warped sentencing guidelines, and a further marginalization of the bodybuilding subculture. Worse, it will do nothing to truly help society or the game of baseball, yet Congress will be sure to point out how they 'saved the game.'
I am not predicting failure - I simply feel that by yout own admission you are not going to take a hard line one way or the other - kind of pointless then isnt it?

It's not really the point to present a dogmatic case for the legalization or decriminalizaztion of AAS.
It's to present the evidence for both positions allowing the reader to reach conclusions based on the strength of each argument.
Now you or I might present a one sided case.
But I think an effective strategy would be to guide the reader through an objective decision making process. Hopefully, they will come away with a more positive attitude/opinion towards AAS.
