I have used accutane once about a year ago for about 15 weeks. I used 40mg per day which wasnt an adequate dose because acne has come back. Its not terrible, but its enough on my back,shoulders and neck that I want a solution to the problem. It cleared it up pretty well while I was using it but I guess I should have been on it around 60mg per day.

I was doing some more research on it before I begin another treatment cycle of it and came across some crazy sites. Have you guys seen some of these forums and information. I new side effects were bad but this is some scary stuff.,

you are telling us that 40 mgs per day x 15 weeks cleared up the acne..right ? Well then it did work..you just have to stay on it longer......

I get such a kick out of this every time I hear stuff like this. I took Acutane after my last cycle and it cleared my ance up and now on my next cycle I got acne again. Of course you do if you got acne before on gear your gonna get it again you can take all the acutane you want but if you cycle again it will be back. Plus acutane sucks it clears acne but the sides are way too brutal. check out Murad acne products use them the way they call for and you won't have acne plus no sides. I swear Murad should give me a kick back I know I have about 20 guys on gear now using Murad.

thats not really true. In Accutanes actual medical writeup that I have it states that it should almost completely stop acne long term. Its not something you use everytime you go on cycle, thats the dumbest sh*t ive ever heard. It shrinks the sebacious glands to nearly the size of a baby's, its meant to be long term.

I agree while 40mg helped clear my skin, i should of been on it longer to further shrink the sebacious glands. It is common for people to do a second treatment of Accutane but no more than that at least in legal medical standpoint. Accutane is extremely powerful and not considered "safe" by any doctor ive ever talked to. It comes with tons of side effects and alters DNA transcription.

Im on TRT and that is the main reason acne flared up on me. Accutane was the last resort after I tried all other options. I dont have any of the side effects the people on those forums have but I am still interested in knowing what its capable of doing. And Ive tried Murad, it didnt do anyrhing after using it for over a year. The clear skin vitamin supplements they offer are pretty good though.

I'll tell you this I know numerous people who have taken Acutane and acne comes back if you take test. That's just the way it is. If test gives you acne it gives you acne all the acutane won't help you with test. I took Acutane as a teenager and once I took test bam acne came back. Acutane is way to harsh and normally isn't benifical in the long term the majority of people I've seen take it including myself in six months it was back and I did do two treatments. I couldn't stay out in the sun my lips were so dry they were splitting without touching them I felt terrible. I thought they would have pulled it off the market by now but go a head and be like the dozen or so of my buddies who swore it would work and before the end of the year ance came back. my whole gym went on a Acutane kick a while back and guess what they all still get acne. Just my two cents but good luck I hope it works for you. honestly I'd like to see it work for someone because i still have yet to see results hold for more than a year.

Oh and buddy when did I ever say that I knew people that took it every cycle. Do you have a problem reading or something I said I knew people who took it that got acne on a cycle then next cycle acne came back. Next time you insult me buddy get your facts straight before you say it's the dumbest shit you ever heard that you didn't hear or read.

im on accutane now. not on a cycle neither. i take 40 mgs ED & i must admit i am not seeing major improvements with this shit so far. goin up to 60 mg next week. sides i experience are dry lips like a mofo & eyes. minor other ones. what is this murad you speak of ?

First of all GO BLUE!!!!!!! Next how bad is your acne? If the accutane is so harmful why risk it? How old are you? If your young the acne will eventually go away. I had severe acne as a teenager and it sucked; but I delt with it. If i had a chance to do it again and my options were to have a good coplection but you might want to kill yourself or have acne but still be mentally stable. I would pick the acne.
