No its not normal to me Most EQ I have used has been the color of urine color or litle lighter. I can see bubbles and almost see through the vial. A very dark amber color is not normal to me.

Depends on the oil, not the hormone, or so it seems to me.

The bass oil has a big influence on the final colour.

That's a fair question. Though I like RoleModel's response, I can think of few oils that are darker that aren't mean for your crankcase, like the heavier olive oils or dark sesame oil. Darker vegetable oils, however, may mean they've been sitting too long (or – gasp! – used for something else) and that's the thing to be wary of.

It sounds delicious! I have had dark EQ and light EQ both made by the same place using grape seed oil. I dont know what makes the difference but you can always send it to me for testing...

Sesame would be on the darker side and grape seed on the lighter side. I personally prefer grape seed oil, smooth as butter. Unless its human grade then its usually smooth anyways.

if it really was the same, than it's what Solo mentioned - aged oil.. Obviously I'm assuming =D
