Default Can DNA test be used to check for aas?
I have to go submit DNA to be in govt database and was curious if the blood could be used to test for anything? He said they just prick your finger but I was under the impression that a swab of the inside of cheek was the way that was done

They did a gum swab on me inside the cheek before I was released to match there data base for unsolved crimes, usually rape.

Well, I never was actually behind bars or anything and it has been months with no mention of any DNA test. Just didn't know if I had to submit or not. Guess that is an attorney question

No, the protocol for the two tests are completely different
