Hi there. I'm looking for sources of DNP, naturally in it's capsulated form. I've been hearing lots of information on the grape vine however that there are serious purity issues when obtaining DNP already in caps. Since I haven't got a fume hood in which I can make caps on my own, I'd like any useful information available on typical DNP-alikes and impurities which are added.
Most prominent chemical suppliers offer DNP with an assay of 97-98%, which is good. Some of the lesser ones have an assay of >90%, which is not something I'd want in my body.
How would you even assay encapsulated DNP when it comes mixed with filler?
It would have to be known what the exact composition of the filler is. But that's fine, that's useful enough information for me. Thanks very much.
What do you mean "there are serious purity issues when obtaining DNP already in caps"? Are you talking about the assay of the actual DNP or the addition of filler?
Oh, that's not what I was referring to at all. I've heard stories about fake DNP capsules which don't contain any actual DNP, or even an extremely minimal amount and are instead contaminated with ephedrine, or various mixes of sterioids. Also, I've heard of steroid pills which are obvious fakes passed off as DNP.
I'm not too worried about the other crap additives to the capsules, provided the DNP is still accurate in it's dosage.
I would think most chemical supply companies would provide the detail on the purity of their product. Plus I would think that would be preferable anyway since you don't know what someone is putting in a capsule for you or even if they can use a high-precision scale correctly (and even more if it's calibrated correctly). Fume hood? Do you really need a fume hood to cap DNP? I suppose I would say you might if you were working with this stuff for long periods of time or capping dozens and dozens of pills. Otherwise if you were just scooping some out of a container and putting it on a scale and then capping it...you shoudl be able to do that for a week's worth with no need for a fume hood. Gloves and a respirator should be fine, right?

Do you have an actual source that you accuse of doing that?
I've read that P 200mg caps were good... I am now trying the 100mg version of it. Will tell you at the end of the cycle
