Dumb question on Quad Inject.

Is it possible to inject too deep into the quad? Reason I ask, is because i injected my right quad with 2cc's of eq, and everything was fine. Then, I injected 1.5 cc's of test into my left quad, everything was going fine, then right before the pin was all the way in I hit something solid.

Just wondering why the right side was fine, but the left was giving me problems.

P.S Was using 23's 1.5's, first cycle, first injections. And please be kind. Thank You

unless you're 6'3" and weigh 150 lbs, you're fine with 1.5" pins. obviously you hit something...i guess you just didnt hit the exact same spot as in the other leg.

while sitting down, i look at the top half of my leg. just the quad. then i shoot in the middle of that. while standing, i put my arms at my side like standing at attention. with palms open and touching my leg, that about the area i want too hit...from the knee up. from a sitting position, i'm shooting three quarters of the way up, from the bottom of my leg(hamstring), and in the area that i "marked" when i was standing.

I've used 1.5" pinz bro with no probs in the quads.

I don't think that's a dumb question bro. I would think that hitting the femur didn't do any harm, but I'd like to hear some other comments myself to be sure. Next time, just don't go in so deep. You want to put the depot into the center of the muscle, or as close to it as possible IMO.

The only thing I worry about is injecting into a vein, which you can prevent by aspirating.

I'm sorry, I should have been more specific. By the center of the muscle, I mean the center of any given muscle, so the depot won't be near the side of it. Anyway, Joe is right in what he said about the quad inj.
