Elbow pain after cycle

Hey guys, a good friend of mine just came off cycle and is experiencing pain in his elbows. Im not sure at this point what his cycle was but I know he is incredibably big and strong. I throws around heavy weight. Has anybody had this problem? If so, what kind of supplement could he take to help? Something like Osteo-Biflex or what? Any input would be great. Thanks

was he taking deca on cycle?

maybe the deca provided lubrication around his joints and now they're dry?


or he may have some sort of tendinitis from muscle growing at an extremely fast rate

If he was on winstrol that could explain it also with the feeling and incredible strength gains from a cycle that so many over exert themselves and can damage their joints.

you got 2 good replies already..either the deca masked the pain for awhile or the stano caused it..find out what he was using..i would bet you a 10 ml bottle of test he has tendonitis brought on from heavy brain crushers or french press's.What he must do is first diagnose the problem then begin rehab for it.Last year i was stupid and doing insane heavy braincrushers ..the elbows hurt,I ignored the problem,it got worse,doc told me I had tennis elbow.I should have layed off the tri's for awhile but did not..it turned into 8 months of agony trying to work through it.

Thanks for the help guys I know he was doing very heavy incline presses, as fo cycle not sure what he was running. Im running Winny now and have not had any problems with elbow or joint pain.....very lucky i guess.

Could be something like Tennis Elbow and could have just been coincidence that it occured when the cycle ended. My suggestion would be to tell him to get his hands on some alfutops and to rest his elbow as much as possible and if he can't rest for a week or two then to wrap his elbow when he lifts.

Well it's common to get elbow pain toward the end of a cycle when your weights go up very quickly. Glucosamine wouldn't hurt you for joint health and lubrication.

just dont ignore it i did and ruptured the tricep tendons in both arms

I would definitley back off on the weights, many people try to ignore pain and yeah it's the tuff thing to do but it may be your downfall as well.

Could be totally unrelated to AAS use or could be as stated above (or perhaps he was able to lift more while on AAS & exceeded his biomechanical max). Try taking glucosamine/chondrotin/MSM/fish oil...those substances help decrease my elbow pain.

There could be any number of issues at hand, and it's impossible to tell, what was he cycling with?
deca could have maked an injury or issue with it's lubricating qualities of the joints, winstrol causes joint pain, if he's very young under 21, if he put on muscle mass very quickly he could be experiencing problems with ligaments and tendons in the joints due to that, or he may have tendonitis., have him ice elbows, but he should seek medical advise

Thanks again guys for all the good input. He told me yesterday he was running Deca and Test E, but has been off for almost a year now. I told him he needed to get checked out. I don't know if he will or not, he is a contractor in Iraq so I can just imagine the response from other guys about getting checked out for elbow pain!

HA, right 375. Well It seems like he may have an uderlying injury then. He has to get checked out, mri etc.
