I'm on the 8th week of my 2nd. cycle of test cyp and am very disappointed in my gains. My 1st. cycle was 300 mg ew and I gained about 15-20lbs in 10 weeks. This time I'm running 425 mg ew and have gained about 5lbs in 8 weeks and I think a lot of it is fat even though my diet is pretty clean. Currently my weight is about 198-202, 6'0" tall. BF is unknown but waist size is 34". Arms, chest, back and legs are very vascular so must be very low BF. My question is, is it OK to up my mg to maybe 600 mg for 4 more weeks and will this help me get results like i had on my first cycle. I just really dont want to go through all the pct without much for gains. By the way the test is from my Dr. so I'm sure it is good. I'm also experiencing some atrophy but not retaining water like I did on my first cycle. I don't know what else to add so if I missed something please ask. Thanks for your help.

For your next cycle, you might want to up the test dosage to 500-750mg/week. And/or stack it with another injectable to have more dramatic gains. I just wouldn't adjust the dosage this late into the cycle. Good luck.

Sorry to have to say this but you guys have no clue. Your entire focus is on the AAS and in your minds, if you're not gaining, you must not be taking enough, so the answer is to take more. When the reality is the answer to your lack of gains is in your diet and training. For your height and weight, 425mg Test/week is fine. You're so far under your genetic limits, if you knew how to properly eat and train, you could make better gains than you have these past eight weeks, naturally. If you go into the training section and post your true and exact routine, you'll probably get some great advice and realize you need to completely change your training. Do the same thing in the nutrition section... keep a log for a week of every single thing you eat and drink and then determine the grams of fat, carbs and protein on a daily basis. If you post these things up, the reason why you're not gaining will be as clear as day. Best regards, MaxRep

Very true Maxrep.Most people blame their gear or think they need more when 99% of the time it is their diet that is out.It does not matter how clean you eat if you are not getting enough calories in you.Food makes you grow not steroids. Most people keep upping the dose or adding more drugs every cycle when they do not need to.I would not increase until you stop gaining on that amount and that you know you are eating enough. Sorry but if you think you will make the same gains you did on your first cycle you are in for a huge let down. Also the idea you need to up the dose to get bigger is a Myth. Steroids are not some magic pill, it takes very hard work, a great training program and diet and tons of dedication.
