Did the feds get my package?

am waiting on a domestic package through the postal service. I tracked it today and it says:

"Your item was misrouted. The error has been corrected and every effort is being made to deliver it as soon as possible. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later."

Is this a bad sign? Ever seen this? It is going to a PO box so a controlled delivery would be tough.

Possible, but not likely.... also not likely they are going for a controlled delivery on a small time package... but these days, you never know...

i've seen that message many times before.
its nothing to worry about.

simply means the item was given to the wrong post man or that it somehow ended up in the wrong city..

remember that usps employees are human too and mistakes are inevitable.
for safety measures, i would keep a close eye on it for a day.

if, and i say IF, its status on usps trakcing online does NOT change in 2 days, consider it a loss and move on.

i have had that happen to ,nothing to worrie about ,the post office just fucked up thats all

i would play it save and if the post man comes and it is signature waved i would not answer the door and wait until he leaves the package and then get it and put somewhere other then your house
