yeah- me too! how exactly can you raid a place of business when no crime has been committed? what exactly is he being charged w/, and what were they looking for? PA has a researcher's license from the DEA, so even though some of the products they found were banned for sale by the fda, he can legally possess them, and i am sure everything he has at his facility is DEA registered. sounds like b.s. political posturing at its worst- the whole balco investigation occurred b/c a senior IRS agent decided that he did not like the way Barry Bonds "came across" in interviews, and was going to ruin his life. millions and millions of taxpayer dollars later- i guess he wins, and fucks a lot of lives up in the process. things are bad enough in our country right now, and our government is more intent on THIS than solving real problems (poverty, hurricane relief, gas prices, war, etc.)- my question is, why do we continue to support politicians who engage in this publicity-whoring nonsense? democrat or republican, it doesn't really matter these days- they all (for the most part) are incompetent, pompous wind-bags that are more worried about winning a CNN-driven high school-type popularity contest than they are about their constituents and solving real issues. i post rarely but have been around the boards forever- but i see all these people going to jail or being persecuted in the press just for trying to improve their appearance/enhance ability/heal injuries, in a country where breast enlargement, collagen implants, botox, ass implants (my favorite), liposuction, chemical peels, stomach stapling, facelifts, etc. are perfectly accepted and widely availiable. it really bothers me when an issue i care about is so one-sided- i really wonder when this will all end

Wow. I had a very nice talk with Patrick in Chicago a couple months ago. Another well-known personality who is a mutual friend introduced us. We had a very interesting discussion about estrogen metabolism. I came away thinking that he is VERY smart, and a nice guy as well.

I had no idea PA was involved in this kind of thing (I guess I need to get out more!).
