Feel when entering muscle?

Am I the only one who could feel when the needle passed fat and entered musle tissue (in the glute, and I'm neither fat or muscular)? Did I hit cartilage?

Van you truly crack me up at times.

I can honestly say I have never felt the needle as it passes from fat to muscle, except on the rare occasions when I am targeting my funny bone,,,,,, in my elbow!

LoL when i inject i feel the pain as it goes to certain layer after that i dont feel it anymore.. Thats all i feel....

there aren't many nerves in the muscle itself. what you're feeling is most likely the membrane that encapsulates each muscle, like a sausage link
If you flex even a little when you inject you'll make the stab a bit more painful, try taking weight off your leg before you shoot...

I don't feel much of a difference, but I have noticed that the first 3/16 of the needle going in hurts the most, once its past that, no pain at all

I agree.Once you break through the skin there is no pain.Although your first 'sprayer' is a bit of a shock though LOL!!.Never did think that blood could spray that far.

Oh yeah! and after several weeks on cycle when blood volume has really increased... Watch out! We got a bleeder!
