Default femara and decreased sex drive

I read a post a while back that said that femara can kill your sex drive (I think BK posted it in an informative anti-e post)(if it wasn't you BK, sorry)...do any of you guys have experience with this? It seems odd that lowering your estrogen while increasing the androgen level would decrease your sex drive, so there must be some other mechanism of action if this is true.

Not too sure if I'd agree with that bu I'll keep reading here to see if anyone has a scientific answer. I know it's more favorable to HDL than some of the other anti-e's as well as it doesn't suppress your IGF-1 levels as much either so I would tend to disagree but we'll see.

Cetainly some estrogen is necessary for the formation of sperm and male fertility. Taking too much of an AI can cause estrogen formation to drop to miniscule levels and cause infertility. However, reducing sex drive is normally a result of reduced Test levels. I'm not sure how an AI would reduce sex drive. I'm interested in seeing what BigK's answer is as I'm a little lazy today to research it myself.

Bro, I don't have a scientific answer for you but I can tell you Femara definitely killed mine. I used Femara very sparingly in my last cycle and my sex drive was killed from week 5 of my cycle till 2 months after I came off( I used some during PCT, my dumbass fault). That's the only Arom. Inhibitor that's ever done that to me(used Arimidex and Aromasin before). I definitely wouldn't use that shit again

I have had this experience as well. Besides that, it requires that you double up your nolva dose (at least for me)...which gets expen$ive...

Aromasin...

I had the same expierence the last time I used Femara at 1.25 MG EOD and that was with a Test C/Tren cycle and no Nolva (used only Nolva PCT). This time around I am using .625 MG ED, Nolva and HCG on the weekend. I am using 300 MGs Prop, 300 MG NPP and 400 MG EQ a week. I have not had the same issues, as a matter of fact with the prop and HCG I feel like I am 18 again! Not sure if it was the Femara or the Tren last time around.

My next cycle I will use aromasin as the AI....
